8 Months

Logan is a crazy kid!  Daniel and I say that over and over everyday.

"That crazy kid."

1- Logan loves to climb on everything possible.
2- He likes to race us to things he knows he is not suppose to be doing,  "NO"  somehow translates to "GO"
3- He has 5 teeth and two more working their way up.
4- He likes to watch for cars out the front window, especially the big rigs.
5- He walks around with his little walker and crawls every place else.
6- Josh Groban is Logan's car buddy.  "Believe"  without fail calms him down.
7- He is a cheeser for the camera.
8- He has the cutest dang smile ever.
9- He stops traffic at the stores.
10- He is very social and outgoing.  He loves to attack other kids.
11- He is a Daddys boy.  They are good buds.
12- He keeps us in smiles and laughs everyday.

We love this crazy kid.

Beans???

I had one of those "I must be a mom" moments today.  I was holding Logan and fixing a burrito for lunch and I looked down and saw some beans on my hand....I quickly licked it off so it wouldn't get on anything and as soon as it hit my mouth the thought crossed my mind, "Please be beans and not poo!!!!!"

Don't ignore me!

Logan has had a hard time going to sleep, lately.  For two nights in a row he would just scream and scream and we could do nothing.  He would finally fall asleep when he had no more energy to continue on.  Poor guy.  Daniel became frustrated with the screaming and the helpless feeling, the night was rough too and when morning came there was still an edge of frustration.  Logan however was much better and was his normal happy baby. When ever he would look at Daniel he would kinda tilt his head and give him a look of, "What's wrong dad?"  This continued until Daniel left for work.  Later that day we decided to go to lunch with Daniel, so off we went to Siagon Noodle House.  Daniel was feeling bad all day for being upset that when we got to the restaurant he grab Logan to say sorry.  However Logan was not going to make it easy on him.  Daniel tried everything to get Logan to look at him.  He held him up high, talked to him, bounced him around and nothing was working...all Logan would do was look in another direction.  He would not make any sort of eye contact with Daniel.  Finally Daniel said, "I want to say sorry." That did the trick!  Logan looked at him and smiled, Daniel apologized and once again they were buds.

Waving Goodbye to Mom

Daniel gives Logan a hug or kiss goodbye every morning before he walks out the door.  Logan watches his every step as he leaves and then watches the door to see if he is coming back.  Well yesterday he was almost falling out of his high chair watching Daniel leave so Daniel came back in and picked him up for one last hug.  Logan got a big smile on his face and looked and me and started waving goodbye.  He waved two or three times then turned himself in Daniel's arms and looked toward the door.  We had a good laugh but this little guy was serious.  He looked at me again and waved then turned back to the door.  He wanted to go to work with Dad.  Crazy kid your to little!

Raspberries

I  have always loved raspberries.  Raspberry flavors and raspberry smells...you get the point.  Well recently I have found a new favorite kind of raspberries that I love more than anything else.  They are the Raspberries that  I get every morning from Logan.  Daniel and I find ourselves covered in slobbery raspberries on our necks, cheeks, arms, and bellies.  It is the best I have found.

7 months

My Baby is 7 Months Old

Where has the last seven months gone?  It has really flown by and my little man is getting so big.  He keeps us laughing.  He is really social he loves kids, and likes to flash those dimples at the ladies.  If I would let him he would tackle all the kids he comes in contact with, including new babies.  He thinks he is a big boy and pulls himself up on everything he can reach and sometimes he gets brave and lets go, he quickly falls but it does not stop him from trying again and again.

We still have trouble sleeping at night.  But it has improved since we had the idea to put away the crib and bring in a big boy mattress to put on our floor.  Logan tries to taste most things he grabs except food, he just plays with that.

He is sure growing fast and we are trying to keep up with him.  What a funny kid.
