Whats that smell!!!!??

A couple days before Christmas I got out of the shower and Daniel told me that he thought we had a dead mouse somewhere. This terrible smell was filling our house when the heater came on.  It was BAD!  It was pure rotten egg and let me tell you if you had a weak stomach you would have lost your dinner.   The smell continued to get worse and worse till we could not stand it any more.  We left our house and slept at my parents. The next morning we returned and you could still smell a slight sulfur smell.  The coming days we figured out the smell became stronger when the heater blew during or right after a shower so...off went the heater anytime we showered.  Its a lovely thing to tell your guests...."don't mind the nasty rotting egg pooh smell coming from our house!"  Some days it gets really bad.  The land lady sent a plumber over but he could not smell it...um how can you miss that!  So here we are in February and thankfully the smell isn't so bad anymore....occasionally it stinks nothing like it did in December and January....Thank GOODNESSS.  So fair warning....if you come over to my house and you smell this terrible nasty egg gone bad poop rotting smell....It was not me!

Growing!!!

My Little Man

is GROWING GROWING GROWING.

Logan loves to roll over and has been doing it since he was three months old.  He rolls and pulls himself until he gets where he wants to go.  On New Years Eve he started sitting by himself, although it's a little shaky he does pretty good. When we were on a shopping trip I noticed he had a tooth coming in and a day later another one cropping up right beside the other.  His favorite thing to do right now is stand!  Nothing puts a bigger smile on his face then when you help him stand.  And if you help him attempt walking the smile gets even bigger. His little laugh is coming more frequent these days and he loves to see himself in the mirror. He also likes to watch the cars go by out our front window.  We watch for dad to come home everyday and he watches every car or truck as they go by. I knew they grew fast but holy cow....slow down kid the days are passing by to fast.  :)

2012

2011 was an amazing year for our family.  Many Many things happened good and bad.  The top three things that I am most thankful for are ...

#1 My Strong Boy!  Logan joined our family and my life long dream of being a mom began.

#2 and #3 (they run together)  Daniel got a new job which means I did too.  I get to be a MOM and WIFE full time.  Thank you Daniel for making all my dreams come true!

For 2012 I am only making one resolution!  It is to ENJOY LIFE MORE THAN I DID IN 2011.  And I did enjoy it, A LOT.

I think I am pretty much the luckiest girl around.  Simply for two reasons my BOYS!
