I just wanna pee normal....

Yes, you read right....I do just want to pee like a normal person.  It was so lovely to get my new instructions for peeing after I had McKenzie..."take this little bottle and do this and pat that".  Great!  Well just as I thought I was returning to normal I got some new instructions.
Halloween night I woke up with pain that I thought might be the end of me.  A late night trip to the ER and a CT scan later we found out I have kidney stones. And now my instructions are pee in this funnel and see if you pass them....never thought I would taking peeing like a normal person for granted.

NO worries No pictures for this one.  :)

To big....

We hit the 10 month mark!

Logan is walking more and more everyday.  He claps for himself when he stands up.  He no longer needs something to pull up on, he just pushes himself up.  He eats almost anything, loves spuds, but is not fond of peaches, cottage cheese or cherry tomatoes.  His favorite toys are trucks, tractors and balls.  He is an adventurous kid...he climbs hills that older kids have a hard time with and anything with a engine he is ready to ride or drive if he can.  Logan never stops! AND boy or boy is this kid a flirt.

Loves to lick the whip cream lid.

My little home boy.

Enjoys the swings at the parks.

A house of learning....

~Doesn't matter how that mom does it, matters how this mom does it.
~Smiles, hugs and kisses are the band aids kids put on mommy's owies.
~Time with Logan and Daniel is more important than a clean kitchen.
~One hand is all I really need to get things done.
~Sleep will never find me again.
~Getting out is a must.
~Clean clothes??
~Nap time is my friend.
~IF I can't see it, he does and it goes right to his mouth.
~Who knew the bathroom could be such a fun playground.
~The Energizer bunny has nothing on this kid.
~I am OUT OF SHAPE!!
~Being a mom is the Greatest JOB in the world.

That's what I have learned....so far...

Look what I shouldn't do!

We are to the point of quietness during play time means something is up.  Logan loves to pull him self up on our movie/book shelf.  He will pull out the Dukes of Hazard movies over and over again and tugs and tugs on my large family photo albums until they fall out so he can look at them.  Today I knew he was playing on the shelf and I realized he had gotten really quiet.  Better check on the little monkey.  I peer around the corner....what do I see?  Logan has pushed his little walker, that also lays down (it was in this position), up against the book shelf and he is balancing himself on ONE foot tip toe, on his walker, reaching for my spurs that are on the shelf.  I don't even have that kind of balance.  One foot, on tip toe, while on wheels...he didn't get his coordination from me.

8 Months

Logan is a crazy kid!  Daniel and I say that over and over everyday.

"That crazy kid."

1- Logan loves to climb on everything possible.
2- He likes to race us to things he knows he is not suppose to be doing,  "NO"  somehow translates to "GO"
3- He has 5 teeth and two more working their way up.
4- He likes to watch for cars out the front window, especially the big rigs.
5- He walks around with his little walker and crawls every place else.
6- Josh Groban is Logan's car buddy.  "Believe"  without fail calms him down.
7- He is a cheeser for the camera.
8- He has the cutest dang smile ever.
9- He stops traffic at the stores.
10- He is very social and outgoing.  He loves to attack other kids.
11- He is a Daddys boy.  They are good buds.
12- He keeps us in smiles and laughs everyday.

We love this crazy kid.

Beans???

I had one of those "I must be a mom" moments today.  I was holding Logan and fixing a burrito for lunch and I looked down and saw some beans on my hand....I quickly licked it off so it wouldn't get on anything and as soon as it hit my mouth the thought crossed my mind, "Please be beans and not poo!!!!!"
