There must be something in the air....

Sunday, during a nice musical number Logan decided he would play ring around the pews giggling all the way.  Pews loaded with people trying to enjoy the meeting ... okay ... so maybe this was a nice show for some (Daniel included).  The second counselor found it funny, the lady in the back row glaring at me did not. Well lady....bite me.  I was able to parade off my large and in charge self for the entire congregation and Logan got a little pre nursery work out.

Monday,  he was a sweet boy and held my hand and Kenzie's while we got blood drawn and flu shots.

Tuesday, I thought it would be fun to go to Thanksgiving point....get us out of the house and doing something new.  Logan thought it would be fun to run down the road against traffic while his seven months pregnant mom chased him.  He also found it fun to stomp on the garden they had growing and jump on an empty wagon so I could not reach him.  Oh and don't let me forget the poopy diaper he took off in my CLOSET and then smeared his poopy bum along the back wall!

Wednesday, I have a candle holder that will hold 12 candles in their own little glass jar...Logan decided he would throw the jars on the floor shattering two of them and breaking my tile table in the process.  I was upstairs for two seconds!!  He found it  necessary to rip apart a book, and for the SECOND time empty the vacume bucket on the carpet.  One thing I think he has learned today ... how to climb the stairs to his room really fast!

What will Thursday, Friday and Saturday hold?  It is always an adventure with this little man.  He may be naughty sometimes but I sure LOVE him.  Being a mom is right where I want to be...yes poop smeared closets and all!

Two and Nine Months

Logan is 2!!

Logan is a one crazy and sweet boy.  

1. He will jump off anything or climb anything he can

2. He LOVES Buzz Lightyear.

3 Has yet to sleep through the night.

4. Will say pretty much anything you ask him to say.  

5. Trucks, Cars and Motorcycles are his thing.

6. Pretty sure we have a sports all star on our hands.  This kid has an arm on him

7.  Loves the water.

8. He is a mini Daniel is so many ways.  If Dad is home Logan is at his hip.

9. He would live outside if I would allow it.

10.  Crazy as all get out.  He never stops.  Seriously he will run ya to the ground...and then run you over.

We love Logan so much he keeps us in smiles and laughs everyday. 

Kenzie is 9 Months

Kenzie is a sweet baby, but everyday we see more and more mischief in her eyes.

1. She loves Logan, she already knows how to get him.

2. She is a Daddy's girl.  Kisses abound for Dad.

3. She laughs and smiles all the time.

4. She can climb stairs, crawl and eat everything she finds.

5. She will eat anything you give her...she LOVES food.

6. She will wave and blow kisses.

7.  Has learned to say "No".

8. Is happy to play with toys and Logan for hours.

9. Most of the time will sleep through the night or only wake up once.

10. She loves to play with Logan's trucks and cars.

We love Z very much.  She too makes sure mom and dad go to sleep every night with a smile.

What would life be without you two crazy sweet kids?

Even though I was wearing cowboy boots, camo and carrying a motorcycle helmet I am sure HAPPY this dude chose me.  :)  AND even though he was a city boy wearin shorts I am sure HAPPY I chose him.

October 25

Main Man

Daniel turned 28 this year!  

1. He is a great Dad!  He plays with the kids for hours and snuggles them to sleep.
2. He has an obsession with speakers and home theater equipment.  He has more speakers than I can begin to  count.
3.He loves football.  I have learned not to talk during games or sports beat, because nothing will be heard.
4. He likes to fish.
5. He likes to go shooting.
6. He is scared of spiders and makes me kill them.  I'll give him credit, he kills the ones that I can't reach.
7. He leaves his dirty clothes laying around the house in random spots.
8. He is a problem solver.  He has to figure things out.
9. He thinks he is funny...okay sometimes he is.
10. He can clear a room in seconds, if ya know what I mean.

 

11. He hates traveling.

12. He knows someone every where we go!

13. He would love to drive a fast car.

14. He works hard for his family and is always trying to better himself.

15. He enjoys golfing.

16. Looks super sexy dressed up...oh what am I saying, he is always sexy.

17. He is a good friend.
18. He likes to watch the old Batman cartoons, he glues his face to them like a little kid.
19. He has an addiction to pop.  The dude loves to drink.
20. He has a wide taste in music.  One minute he is listening to hard rock and the next a musical piece.
21. He enjoys workin on cars, or tinkering with things.
22. Every year he says he is done with BYU, but continues to be a big fan.  If they loose its best to steer clear for awhile.
23.Enjoys the out doors.

24. Hates winter and loves the summer heat.
25. He has a hat collection and more shoes than me.
26. He is willing to help when someone needs it.
27. He yells and gets upset at other drivers and claims its never him.
28. He is the best husband I could ever ask for.

the poop is on the wall

I told Logan to go get his clothes for the day, he quickly climbed the stairs to his room to get dressed.  About three minutes later I realized he was being too quiet.  I walked up to his room and the first thing I saw was a diaper full of poop laying on the floor!  The next thing was a naked boy dancing around his room, then to my horror i saw it....the pooo was smeared on the walls and carpet too.  Happy cleaning!

5 and 20

Z is growing TO fast.  5 months already.

She smiles all the time.  It's the first thing she does in the morning.

She will only laugh for Logan

She is happy happy happy, we hope she stays that way forever.

She almost has the roll mastered.

She is a chatter bug.

She gets very excited if you show her your cell phone.

She does not like the solid foods.

     We LOVE this little lady so stinkin much!

             

Logan is my little man.  So big!

He loves trucks and motorcycles.

He is learning new words everyday, he can say mom, dad, ball, bike, uck (truck), hi. Z, and ba. Those are the most frequent.

He can pick out L-O-G-A-N letters.

He loves suckers.

He can bust the moves to any toon.

He loves to sit on peoples heads especially Dad's.

If he could live outside he would.

He likes to play games with Dad.

He will throw a fit for HOURS.

He can put on his own shoes.

He likes to play with Kenzie.

He will sit on the potty and even wipe himself....only problem is he wont really go.

He is very very active.  He never stops...NEVER.

He puts on Daniels clothes almost every day.

He is a funny funny kid and we love him to death.

They are both Daddy kids!

Super Nanny and the Monkey Wrench

Since the day we brought Logan home from the hospital almost 19 months ago...he has never liked sleeping in his bed.  He would always start off in his bed but would always end up in ours.  We tried everything!  Everything minus letting him cry it out which I refused to do.  When we moved to our new house we started him off in the big boy bed and he took to it pretty well except again he would not stay the whole night.  About a month ago I could not take it any more.  I wanted my bed back!!!  SO I had heard of this Super Nanny idea of putting them to bed with hugs and kisses twice and then after that if they got out of bed it was silence in putting them back.  I was ready!  I didn't care if it took all night!  As per our normal routine we snuggled him to sleep on our bed then took him to his own.  Around midnight he woke up and Super Nanny adventure began.  It took me THREE hours to get him to stay in his bed, at one point he thought it was a game, but he got the hang of it.  The next night it was an hour and a half and from there down to 40 minutes. I was on a roll and Logan was doing great!  AND THEN....the monkey wrench....another ear infection along with some lung crap and high fevers found him back in our bed.  I was sure we would have to start over, but Logan has taken it back like a pro!!!  Even better!  This whole week he has made it in his bed with only at the most two wake ups and they were only minutes long!  Last night he stayed in his bed till 8am.   AWWW!     Daniel and I have not slept this great since......well..... FOREVER!!!!!  Sleep is awesome.  

I sure hope I am not jinxing myself :)
